College Training
This class is for players already competing in USTA tournaments and at the sectional level (qualifying for sections) in high school tennis. This class is meant to prepare players for college tennis. This means participants should be training a minimum of 10 hours (60/40 split) per week. Class only accounts for 3 hours of on-court training and 1 hour of off-court training, meaning players are expected to hit, play matches, and do off-court work outs on their own. All drills shown in class are repeatable with a hitting partner, all off-court training drills shown in fitness class use minimal equipment and space (most are able to be completed within 20 sq. feet!), all players are encouraged to play matches anywhere they can with each other, with the addition of scheduled matchplay days every week at MatchPoint. All the tools are made available to complete these tasks.
